Rev. Todd E. O’Neal has a rich and varied ministry. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at Rockdale Baptist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio, which his parents helped found in 1954. There he served as an usher and as a Junior Deacon. At the age of nine, Rev. O’Neal began serving as music minister for Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, and Roman Catholic churches and organizing community choirs.
Rev. O’Neal was ordained in the fall of 1976 under Rev. Roy Gabbard at Uptown Revival Center, a non-denominational church. After earning the Master of Divinity degree at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, Rev. O’Neal pastored York Street United Methodist Church from 1986 to 1994, serving under Bishop Edsel Ammons and District Superintendent Rev. Al Tomer. In 1994, Rev. O’Neal founded The House of Joy Christian Ministries, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rev. Todd O’Neal is married to the former Linda Fay Buie, a gospel recording artist, missionary, and co-pastor of the House of Joy. They have four children.
